Edward Bernard McFeely? No records actually show a middle name or initial.

Obituary in Fort Wayne, Inidana newspaper stated he died at his home in Rochester, NY. This was not true according to his daughter Sarah's letter and daughter Helen's letters to Frances or his obituary from Buffalo, NY newspaper.

33. Susanna McCloskey

She received burns on Jan 1st 1887 and died 19 days later.

Her son Joseph and her had the same birthdate Dec. 25.

She also had the same birthdate as the ggg grandfather of her
ggg grandson Michael's wife Lynn's ggg grandfather, Nicoli Ottenot and they died
on the same date in the same year 1/19/1887. A strange coincidence!

34. John Curran

LDS has 2 John Currans listed:
One born 1795 in Bagenalstown, Carlow, Ireland
One born 1797 in Leighlinbridge, Carlow, Ireland

There is also listed a John Curren married to a Elizabeth Smith
(Bessie Smith?) in 1816 in Cashel And, Emly Diocese, Ireland
These could be the parents of Ann Curran. The dates coincide well.

Frances McF's notes state that the Curran's immigrated to Hamilton, Ont. Can and then on to Buffalo when their daughter Ann moved there with James McF. They are said to be buried in Buffalo, NY.

35. Bessie Smith

LDS has an Elizabeth Smith (Bessie Smith?) listed as being
born abt. 1795 of Cashel And, Emly Diocese, Ireland

There is also listed a John Curren married to a Elizabeth Smith
(Bessie Smith?) in 1816 in Cashel And, Emly Diocese, Ireland
These could be the parents of Ann Curran. The dates coincide well.

Frances McFeely would when writing to anyone about Bessie Smith,
or mentioning her would sing or say "pretty little Bessie Smith" by
no one knows why. Frances also stated in a letter she had a great
interest in her but never elaborated.
